Cold process soap starts with skin-loving oils and butters combined with lye — triggering a reaction called saponification that transforms raw ingredients into a gentle, glycerin-rich cleanser. Unlike commercial soaps that strip glycerin out, ours keeps it in. Every bar then cures for 4–6 weeks, producing a harder, longer-lasting bar with a creamy lather.

A little care goes a long way. We recommend resting your bar on a well-draining soap dish between uses — one with slats or ridges that allow air to circulate and the bar to dry fully. Lathering with a washcloth rather than rubbing the bar directly on skin helps it go further while giving you a richer, more luxurious lather. Extra bars are best stored unwrapped in a cool, dry place — they continue to cure and only improve with time.
